When I first heard the term juice, I figured that it was some powerful health tonic or potion, the recipe a well-kept secret. But really, the term Beet Apple Spinach juice, is meant to describe any juice - that is in fact some beet and apple. Beet Apple Spinach juice is a combination of fruit and veggies. Beet Apple Spinach ingredients may be 100% crisp green and red, or a rainbow of colors.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup spinach.
  • 1 medium size beet.
  • 1 apple.
  • 1 cup water.

Directions:

Peel the beet before chopping then juice all the ingredients. This juice is an absolutely beautiful color and a surprising way to incorporate beets into the family’s diet. We really enjoyed this juice as is, but you can also add a little orange juice or juice another apple to sweeten it as well!

Mango Pineapple Kale Juice Recipe

This is especially important for juicing since we are concentrating the fruit in its natural, raw state! And, unless noted, the fruits and veggies do not need to be peeled before juicing, but they should be chopped or sliced into pieces before adding to the juicer (no seeds or pits, please).

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 cups loosely packed chopped kale, ribs removed (about 3-4 leaves).
  • 1 mango.
  • 1 cup chopped fresh pineapple.
  • 1 cup water.

Directions:

Peel and chop the mango before juicing. Juice all the ingredients, beginning with the kale. The pineapple and mango make a super sweet juice, which the kale helps tone down (and also adds big doses of Vitamin A,C, and K).

Directions:

Juice the carrots and pear in the juicer. Juice the orange using a traditional, non-electric hand juicer unless your juicer can handle citrus fruits. Combine and mix well.

  • 2 apples.
  • 2 oranges.
  • 1 cup water.

Directions:

Juice the apples. Mix with orange juice squeezed using a traditional, non-electric hand juicer — the kind where you halve an orange or lemon and place it on and squeeze. Citrus fruits are not meant to be juiced in some juicers but will easily yield their own juice. If your juicer can tolerate citrus fruits, juice away! Mix together and serve. Makes approximately 1 8oz serving. This is a good juice for beginners because it has common, beloved ingredients. Another easy variation: juice 2 carrots instead of the apples for mixing with the orange juice.

My favorite of all of the juices! If I could drink this every morning for breakfast I’d be happy. It’s like a delicious orange juice alternative with tropical fruit flavor and lots of healthy benefits including a ton of vitamin C and antioxidants. The addition of coconut water adds to the tropical flavor and helps hydrate your body and gives you an energy boost to start your day.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup diced peaches.
  • 1 cup diced and peeled mango.
  • 1 freshly squeezed orange.
  • ½ cup coconut water.
  • 1 teaspoon agave nectar.

Directions:

Blend ingredients until smooth, and pour through a strainer if desired. Serve chilled and garnish with a peach slice.

I didn’t set out to make this juice, but I had some leftover blueberries, blackberries and lemons, so I decided to make some berry lemonade! Served over ice, this makes an amazing refreshing summer drink. Plus, it has all the benefits of blueberries and lots of vitamin C!

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup blackberries.
  • ½ cup blueberries.
  • 2 freshly squeezed lemons.
  • 1 tablespoon freshly chopped ginger.
  • 1 cup water

Directions:

Blend ingredients until smooth, and pour through a strainer if desired. Serve over ice and garnish with a lemon wedge.
